Over the past 20 years, Joe has held senior strategic roles responsible for corporate strategy and execution as well as advising early stage software companies. Committed to excellence in execution, Joe has successfully grown $50M-$300M+ businesses within the B2B software, distribution channels and e-commerce segments with leading technology & services organizations.
Joe is the Board Chair for Metal Networks, an AI-focused e-commerce & marketplace enablement platform serving the metals supply chain as well as Board Advisor for Cyberlucent, an early stage cybersecurity assessment software company.
Joe also led Interwork Technologies, a specialty software distributor, through 8 consecutive years of record growth, delivering more than 2.5x revenue growth, 10x EBITDA growth and 8x shareholder returns. He successfully transitioned the company through two acquisitions, one of which is a publicly traded company. During his tenure, the company earned the Business Excellence Award twice which recognizes companies for employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and innovation. He also earned 5 channel innovation and reseller choice awards.
Prior to Interwork, Joe spent six years at Ingram Micro – a $40B+ global technology products distributor. He founded their Wireless & Mobility division in Canada and grew that business from inception to over $100M in revenue in three years. Prior to this role, Joe was responsible for growing their $300M+ Networking Technology division, leading them through double digit growth each year.
Joe has an Executive MBA from Athabasca University and a Marketing degree from York University. He is committed to the development and education of special needs children and served on the Board of Directors for the Silver Creek Centre for Early Learning & Development. Joe continues to play an active role in fundraising for special needs programs & services.
